Study Programs at the Franciscan International Study Centre, Canterbury
The Franciscan International Study Centre in Canterbury, UK, a widely recognized institution in the Franciscan world and beyond, offers two certificate programs: a Certificate in Franciscan Studies and a Certificate in Training for Franciscan Formation. Each of these certificates can be earned within six months, namely, during the Michaelmas (Oct-Dec) and Lent (Jan-Mar) terms of a given year. For information: www.franciscans.ac.uk

12th Ongoing Formation Course on Ecumenical and Interreligious Dialogue in Istanbul
The international fraternities of Istanbul and Smyrna in Turkey is offering a course of Ongoing Formation on Ecumenical and Interreligious dialogue – in both English and French – to all the Friars
Minor and the Franciscan family. The course will take place from October 13th–28th, 2016. Topics covered will include: Formation to Dialogue in the Franciscan Charism, and Ecumenical, Islamic–Christian and Judeo-Christian Dialogue. Symposium on “Spirituality and Identity” in Graz, Austria
There will be a symposium on 14-15 October 2016 in the OFM Convent in Graz (Austria) on “Spirituality and Identity.” The human desire for God is an essential foundation of all religious experience. The symposium takes into account the question of the desire for spirituality and examines different ways of thinking. Speakers: Stefan Tobler, Robert M.
