The Friars of Lithuania started this event ten years ago to express solidarity with those who are suffering from cancer and to support the St. Francis Oncology Center.  The center, founded by the St. Casimir Province of Lithuania, offers various therapies (including music and dance) and sessions with a psychologist or with a priest. Aside from providing information about diseases and their treatments, the center also provides community to the people.  The services are provided free of charge.
